GENERAL RULES GOVERNING ADVANCE PURCHASE PROMOTIONAL FARES (SECTION 13)
WHAT: GENERAL RULES GOVERNING ADVANCE PURCHASE PROMOTIONAL FARES.
SALE: Tickets must be purchased in advance of first travel as indicated in connection with each promotion.
CARRIERS: All carriers in Section 2, except carriers indicated as participating in mileage-based fares only, unless otherwise excepted.
LIMITS: Tickets limited to specific schedule and departure date for which sold ONLY, must be purchased in advance of travel as indicated in connection with each promotion.
HONORING: Holiday travel blackouts apply. See Section 5. Additional restrictions, if any, will be indicated with each promotion.
Passengers who begin their going trip or return trip before a restricted period but extend into a restricted period will be permitted to travel through to destination. No transportation may begin during a restricted period.
DISCOUNTS: No discounts apply. Children's fares are the same as the adult fares unless otherwise specifically stated.
REFUND: No refund. See Exchange Rule if original travel date has passed.
EXCHANGE: See "EXCHANGE FEES" in Section 1.
UPGRADE: An advance purchase fare may be upgraded to a walk-up fare for a charge of $15 per transaction plus the difference between the advance purchase fare and the walk-up fare. If the walk-up fare is less than the advance purchase fare, no refund will be given. The origin and/or destination may NOT be changed in an upgrade.
PTO'S: Prepaid Ticket Order sales will NOT apply to advance purchase ticket sales.
STOP-OVERS: Stop-overs en route will NOT be permitted.

All fares must be purchased in advance of first day of travel as indicated in connection with each fare.

Does not apply between points within the state of New York, between points in the state of New York and Montreal, Quebec, Canada including intermediate points, or between points in the state of New York and Toronto, Ontario,Canada including intermediate points.

EFFECTIVE: April 29, 2011
EXPIRES: No expiration date
PREMIUMS: Holiday and Weekend Premiums WILL apply to the base fare.
BLACKOUTS: 21-Day Advance purchase tickets will be blacked out for travel each Friday thru Sunday during the period June 24, 2011 thru August 14, 2011.
DISCOUNTS: No further discount will apply.
ENDORSE: Endorse tickets purchased 7 days in advance: "AP7"
Endorse tickets purchased 14 days in advance: "AP14"
Endorse tickets purchased 21 days in advance: "AP21"
REFUND: Tickets, once purchased, have no refund value.

3-DAY ADVANCE PURCHASE COMPANION PROMOTION

WHAT: 3-DAY ADVANCE PURCHASE COMPANION PROMOTION
Purchase a one-way or round-trip adult fare and take up to 3 companions for a 50% discount.
Originating travel may begin any day of the week, excluding blackout periods.
EFFECTIVE: December 10, 2008
EXPIRES: No expiration date
CARRIERS: Does not apply between points within the state of New York, between points in the state of New York and Montreal, Quebec, Canada including intermediate points, or between points in the state of New York and Toronto, Ontario, Canada including intermediate points.
SALE: Tickets on sale daily and must be purchased 3 days in advance of first travel.
LIMITS: Tickets limited to specific schedule and departure date for which sold ONLY and must be purchased a minimum of 3 days in advance of travel.
HONORING: Tickets will be honored for travel originating any day of the week, excluding blackout periods.
Passenger and companion must travel together for the entire trip.
See Premiums/Blackouts for Holiday and other applicable travel blackouts.
Passengers who begin their going trip or return trip before a restricted period but extend into a restricted period will be permitted to travel through to destination. No transportation may begin during a restricted period.
DISCOUNTS: Only the senior and child's discounts WILL apply.
PREMIUMS: Holiday and Weekend Premiums WILL apply to the base fare.
ENDORSE: Issue a ticket for each passenger. Mark each ticket: "MUST TRAVEL WITH COMPANION" ICW [In Conjunction With] plus the other ticket number, and "PFCMP." Include the departure date and time for which purchased (including return trip date and time if ticket is round trip) and " No Refund".
REFUND: No refund. See General Rules governing Advance Purchase Tickets.
EXCHANGE: See General Rules governing Advance Purchase Tickets.

Note: Casino fares, commuter fares, Ameripass fares, student or military fares or any reduced walk-up fares marked with the restriction "NFD" do not qualify for companion travel.

Applies to: Active and retired members of the US Armed Forces,
(This includes Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy only)
Foreign military personnel in active service,
Members of the National Guard, Reservists
And bona fide identifiable spouses and dependents of the above
Valid military picture identification card must be presented.
EFFECTIVE: October 27, 2003
EXPIRES: No expiration date
CARRIERS: All carriers in Section 2.
SALE: Tickets on sale daily.
LIMITS: Tickets limited to 90 days in addition to date of sale
HONORING: Tickets honored daily. Holiday travel blackouts DO NOT apply.
DISCOUNTS: No other discounts apply. Children's discounts will no longer apply.
PREMIUMS: Holiday Premium WILL NOT apply.
Weekly Premium WILL NOT apply.
ENDORSE: Endorse ticket "MM."
Clearly indicate the "void after" date.
Record military identification card number on ticket.
PTO'S: Prepaid Ticket Order sales will not apply to military fares.
REFUND: Only totally unused tickets may be refunded to original purchaser, 20% penalty applies. No refund if any portion of ticket has been used.

Applies to military personnel with a valid Veterans Advantage Discount Card and valid ID, such as a driver's license.
Note: The Veterans Advantage is valid for one full year from date of purchase. Greyhound does not sell the Veterans Advantage card.
